Our BoxFit classes are designed to use specific exercises that boxers use to keep themselves fit. Techniques and moves include shadow-boxing, skipping, hitting pads, kicking punchbags, press-ups, shuttle-runs and sit-ups.

You cant expect to burn around 500-600 calories with this fast paced workout. Your cardiovascular system will improve along with your strength, speed and boxing skills. If you’re looking for a toned and lean body, this non-contact class is ideal! It works your upper and lower body, especially your shoulders and core. As BoxFit is a form of aerobic exercise, your heart will be pumping which helps to lower your blood pressure and reduces the risk of heart disease, strokes and diabetes.

As Boxfit is a full-body workout, you can expect to work all your major muscle groups which engage the upper and lower body. Although this is a non-contact class the exercises involved will challenge you and you’ll increase your speed, stamina, fitness, agility and strength. In Boxfit you can expect to do a cardio warmup to get your blood and energy flowing. There will be rounds of shadow-boxing and technical boxing punches such as jabs, hooks, cross and uppercuts. The Boxfit workout also focuses on conditioning, fitness and toning so expect abdominal exercises to be included too.

Boxfit is a cardiovascular workout that helps to burn calories fast, it’s a 45-minute class that will have your adrenaline pumping and you reaching your fitness goals in no time! You can look to do a BoxFit workout 2-3 times a week or combine it with other classes that are designed to build your cardio fitness and strength such as Body Combat.
