I first started training with Demelza in December last year. I’d spent the first half of my life unhappy – I was overweight, with little confidence and had spent years yo-yo dieting, trying every slimming club and fad diet in the industry. I knew I needed to change and needed help to keep me motivated in finding a way to lose weight, become fitter and make a lifestyle change that would be long lasting.

Demelza came highly recommended by a friend and from the first point of meeting her I knew that she was the person that could help me make those changes. She was so warm and friendly, really knowledgeable and uber passionate about her work. So from the beginning, she made me feel confident and comfortable about entering a gym.

I was so nervous about using weights but she’s always encouraging and makes sure that you’re using the right techniques. She’s not only helped me at the gym but she’s also given me tips on nutrition and helped me with a diet plan that has resulted in me losing almost 3 stone and we’re still going strong.

It’s been almost a year now and I’m really grateful that she’s helped me stay on track. I definitely feel like she’s helped me make and sustain the lifestyle change I was looking for. I’ve since recommended her to friends, and look forward to continuing my journey with her. I now have the confidence to go the the gym by myself as well as my sessions with Demelza. She always makes the sessions fun and keeps me on track without making me feel bad, if there are any slip ups. I’m so grateful for meeting her and would recommend her to anyone.
