What is RPM Les Mills?

RPM is a cardio cycling exercise that has you working out to motivating tunes alongside an inspiring trainer and like-minded exercisers. It is based on cardio peak training which involves you speeding up your heart and lowering it back down which helps to build up your aerobic fitness and cardio endurance.

How many calories can you lose in RPM workouts?

In this 45-minute workout you can burn up to 500 calories!

What do you have to do in RPM training?

You will combine cycling with hill climbs, sprints, interval training and more. You trainer will guide you through each step but all of them are easily doable and you will build up your ability pretty quickly.

How does RPM help you physically?

RPM is known to help people lose weight as well as toning their legs and tummies. You will also reduce blood pressure and cholesterol levels.

How often should I do RPM workouts?

There is no set number of times you should or shouldn’t do RPM, however a study shown that exercisers who completed RPM workouts 3 times a week over the course of 8 weeks were able to improve their cardio fitness, reduced body fat, and decreased their blood pressure and cholesterol levels.

What is Les Mills Sprint?

Les Mills Sprint is a HIIT cycling workout that requires you to use as much as energy as you can in a short space of time, followed by a period of recovery and then you do it all over again. This is known to burn calories fast and helps to grow lean body muscles.

How many calories can you lose in a Les Mills Sprint workout?

As this is a HIIT workout, you can expect to burn at least 290 calories in the 30-minute session, although calories are known to burn long after your exercise.

What do you have to do in Les Mills Sprint?

The workout uses a combination of sprinting, power training and strength building where you will power cycling for a period and then rest, continuing the process for 30 minutes. The challenge will be to go as fast you can whilst cycling on a setting that is difficult so it really pushes you and builds strength in your muscles and legs.

How does it help you physically?

This workout has multiple health and fitness benefits, studies have shown it can improve cardiovascular, metabolic and musculoskeletal fitness. It will also help to reduce body fat mass and blood pressure, whilst increasing fitness, lean body mass, glucose tolerance and strength.

Les Mills recommend you should look to do the SPRINT workout no more than twice a week.

It is a super fun digitally immersed cycling workout that uses cinematic screens and state-of-art sound systems to make exercisers feel like they’re in another world. This distraction takes them away from the feeling of discomfort and they tend to perform better without noticing.

In this fun 40-minute-long workout you can burn up to 470 calories in just one session!

What do you have to do in this workout?

It is a multi-peak cycling exercise where you will cycle through different digital worlds on the screen in front of you to energetic music. Your trainer will guide you through the workout a so you can get the most of out of your training.

How does Les Mills The Trip help you physically?

You will reduce body weight significantly as well as increasing muscles and lean body mass.

How often should I do the workout?

There is not set number of times you should do this one, however with all the studies out there it’s a workout that not only helps to increase your fitness and reduce your body fat but at the time alters your mental state and makes you happy.
