What areas will Zumba work on?

Arms: – Zumba doesn’t usually target arms however some Zumba classes will incorporate weights to add arms into the mix.

Core: Yes!!! Very much so, A number of the dance steps used in the routines really work the hips and midsection to help strengthen the core.

Legs: Yes. The quads and hamstrings will be tested with the lunges and jumps during the workout.

Glutes: Yes. The glutes will be pushed during the class making this a fabulous glute workout.

Back: No, the movements used in Zumba don’t focus on back strengthening.

The main focus with Zumba is to have fun and it encourages everyone to get involved young old, man, women. Classes are adaptable to just about any fitness level and if you don’t get any of the moves just try and join in when you can nobody minds and nobody judges its all about having fun whilst increasing fitness.
