Luxe Fitness Club Membership Rules

LUXE Fitness aims to make our gyms as safe and enjoyable as we possibly can for all of our members and to assist us in achieving this we have put in place a set of member rules which will assist us in achieving our objective and assist members in having the best experience. Our members are asked to use the facility and respect the rules. We reserve the right to terminate your Membership immediately if you do not abide by these membership rules. Members using the club during non-staffed hours, 10pm – 6am, will be monitored daily by Luxe Fitness staff to ensure adherence to all club rules.

As a Member of Luxe Fitness you agree that you will:

  • Adhere to the government guidelines surrounding social distancing within gyms. It is the responsibility of the member to review and adhere to these guidelines. With the rapidly changing nature of the COVID-19 outbreak, information and advice from Government can change quickly. For all the latest government information on COVID-19 and the measures the Government are taking, please visit:
  • Clean all equipment before and after use, using the cloths and sprays provided
  • Wash and sanitise your hands regularly throughout your training session
  • Train alone, regardless of social bubbles
  • Not share your RFID with or allow it to be used by anyone else. If your RFID fob is used by anyone else you will automatically be charged a £50 Fee. There will be a £20 administration and replacement fee for any lost or stolen RFID fobs.
  • Not to share the entrance pod with anyone else or allow access to any other person.
  • Attend an induction if you are a wheelchair user or are under 18 years old.
  • Strongly consider attending a gym induction, particularly if you are a first-time gym user, before using the gym for the first time as you are then more likely to achieve your goals (inductions can be booked via the website).
  • Not make or receive phone calls on the gym floor. We ask members for health and safety reasons and consideration for other members that all calls are made away from equipment in one of the lounge areas.
  • Not take photographs or videos on the premises or post remarks or imagery to the internet that could identify another member. Unfortunately any images or comments posted to the internet at LUXE Fitness, in relation to LUXE Fitness or in relation to another member are done so at the publishers own risk Luxe Fitness Club Membership Rules – July 2018
  • Replace equipment back onto the racks after you have finished with it.
  • Not drop or throw weights down on the floor (including in the free weights area).
  • Use a locker at all times to store your belongings when you are exercising. Members must at no time take their bags on the the gym floor.
  • Not leave your belongings in a locker when you are not on the premises. Any items left in lockers will be removed each evening. Unfortunately LUXE Fitness will not be responsible for the cost of replacing any padlocks cut and removed.
  • Wear suitable clothing and footwear when exercising (denim, bare feet, skirts, flip-flops, boots, bare torso and hoods up are amongst the range of clothing choices that is unsuitable). The management reserves the right to further add other items if they are deemed ‘not suitable gym wear’.
  • Use the gym facilities and equipment in a proper manner and not in a way that might cause harm to yourself or others (just ask a member of staff if you are unsure).
  • Not engage in any exercise activity that may be potentially harmful to you or others (this includes contact sports such as martial arts and boxing unless this is with one of our Personal Trainers). This list is not exclusive and the management reserve the right to ask members to refrain from certain activity if they feel it to be unsafe or unsuitable.
  • Not use, block or interfere with fire, emergency or disabled access doors or alarms (except in a genuine emergency).
  • Not behave in an aggressive, abusive, intimidating, anti-social or threatening manner or in a way that might cause distress to staff or members.
  • Members are asked to remove helmets and hoods before entering the entrance pods. If at anytime you can not be recognised on the CCTV, the management have the right to remove access to LUXE Fitness and terminate your membership.
  • Not conduct any Personal Training business with other Members.
  • Come and go quietly so as not to disturb our neighbours.
  • Use any parking facilities provided in accordance with the rules that the parking provider posts and may change from time to time (if you get a parking ticket we are not responsible).
  • Not park your bicycle in an unsafe or inappropriate location.
  • Put your litter in one of the bins we provide.
  • Not enter our premises whilst intoxicated.
  • Not engage in any type of criminal behaviour whilst on our premises.
  • Not sleep in on our premises.
  • Not cause damage to the premises, our or another member’s property.
  • Not misuse the vending machines.
  • Not force entry to locked doors.
